In 2019 YouTube tasked Advoc8 with designing and producing a YouTube Space Pop-up in the Union Market neighborhood of D.C. The pop-up included a week of thoughtful conversations, video strategy workshops, hands-on production education, and a chance to connect with YouTube Creators from across the country. The goal was to have policymakers and thought leaders become more familiar with the YouTube platform and increase the understanding of YouTube’s value for civic engagement.
To achieve this, we designed versatile spaces, a state-of-the-art production studio and interactive activations for a buzzworthy guest experience that further established YouTube as a platform to provide helpful content, drive social change, and build connections.
