In lieu of an annual in-person event due to COVID, we developed a brand identity and landing page to celebrate the winners of the 2020 RTCA awards. The challenge was to translate the experience of a typically live event into a compelling digital platform that felt just as engaging and special. With this in mind, we crafted an elegant user experience that maintained the prestige of the awards while adapting seamlessly to an online format.
The design concept focused on bold, geometric shapes that interacted and fit together in surprising ways—symbolizing how communication in 2020 had been both bold and unexpected, yet essential to our lives. These shapes not only created visual intrigue but also reinforced the idea of connectivity and adaptation during a year of unprecedented change. The result was a visually dynamic and cohesive landing page that honored the spirit of the RTCA awards while offering a fresh digital experience.
